Thursday 6th October

The Bowls / 차세대

LIVE / INDIE / DAY-TIME SHOW
Are you a fan of top-shelf indie music, but you're not really a nighttime person? Maybe you're a guitar grooves fan but afraid of the dark?

Don't worry, Seogyo Center have you covered! They've been doing a series of shows with local talent that take place a little earlier in the day. Recent instalments have included Bosudong Cooler, Kim Sawon, and loads more.

This week they have a real doozy, though. A double bill of Seoul-based indie acts, both of who are Platform faves.

Playing at the show will be The Bowls and 차세대, aka The Next Generation. Both of these bands produce fun, indie-pop sounds.

This should be a good show if you can get up early enough.

Friday 7th October

Hyangni at CoSMo40

ELECTRONICA / LIVE MUSIC
Kind of cheating here because this one is in Incheon but it’s so good we had to highlight it!

This Friday, CoSMo40 kick off a two-week block of incredible live shows featuring some insane names like Cadejo, Hyodo and Bass, WeDance, Silica Gel and more!

This Friday's launch kicks off with a real treat: HYANGNI.

After an insane performance at our recent Block Party event, the enigmatic electronic performer will be taking her insanely brilliant funktronica to the CoSMo40 stage!

Demon In My View

THEATRE / LITERATURE
The Seoul Shakespeare Company make their long, LONG awaited return this week with what we think is a brilliant idea.

They've prepared performances of a variety of Edgar Allen Poe stories and poems. Their actors will give dramatic and creative imaginings of the words of the original king of darkness.
