Top 100 Korean songs of 2022
Another year done, and we've finally gotten a return to relative normalcy. 2022 in Korea was a year in which things opened up, mosquitos developed seemingly super strength, and every new band wanted to sound like Men I Trust.
Here, we've broken down our list of the best 100 songs (yes, 100) of the year from Korean artists, people of Korean heritage, or musicians working in the country. Here are a few housekeeping notes:
First, this was REALLY hard to put together. Our shortlist was about 300 tracks long, and there were a few difficult decisions to make. Quite a few musicians created excellent music, but we had to draw the line somewhere.
Also, yes, we're aware that some of these songs came out in 2021. We published our last list at the start of December, so there were a few songs we missed that we wanted to include.
